Quite a unique home situated on 26 wooded acres. The elevated homesite offers great mountain views off the rear deck, or from the main level of the rear of the house. Numerous glass sliders open up those views from the interior of the home. It would seem that every surface has been enhanced and brought back to life from the master craftsman that have spent the last year in updating and renovating. This Post & Beam style home was constructed as a "Stressed Skin Panel home", a process whereas 4" of the exterior panel walls have a foam core sandwiched between wood panels. The philosophy behind it is that the home will withstand extreme high and low temperatures, more so than what this region brings. The pictures don't really do the home justice. You need to come to admire the Post & Beam interior architecture, with interesting roof angles and exposed wood everywhere. A lot of though was put into the project including custom lighting inside and out. So much new including the entire kitchen, bathrooms, plumbing elements, Heat & AC furnace/pump. It seems that every interior surface has been touched including all the hardwood flooring throughout, drywall painted. The exterior white pine Board & Batten is newly stained. There is over 1300 sq.ft. of deck surface, including 550 sq.ft. of covered front and side porch, and 770 sq.ft of rear deck to enjoy entertaining and taking in those mountain views. New custom railing has been installed, using solar lighting on the posts, a fascinating effect. The driveway is long and winding, you get no neighborhood noise except for the birds, and occasionally from the creek after hard rains. The land is quite deep. There is a path to the creek but it is downhill and quite a distance off. Hunting is allowed. There is too much to talk about, easier to come take a look.
