Located in the Heart of Texas, this beautiful 200 ac. Texas Hill Country ranch is only 45 minutes from San Antonio but even closer to Hondo, Castroville and Bandera - where Medina Lake is just "down the road". Beyond the Mermaid Gate is a dramatic entrance on an improved road that leads to the main house. This house is constructed with Grid-Wall Construction which provides great insulation (R40 factor). The home has a wide welcoming front porch that stretches all the way around. The owners have a deep love for the environment and that is reflected in all they have done. They have used the natural south Texas trees and brush for landscaping the property. The small rustic cabin located a short distance from the main house is just right for overnight guests - clean, cozy with all the comforts of home. There are two water wells that provide water to the homes and to the animal water troughs throughout the property. The stock tank, a short walk from the home, has been designed to capture run-off from the surrounding hills (and one of the wells can be used to keep the water level constant in case of drought). There are 2 fenced 50-acre pastures. This ranch is ready for you to make it your own. Please come take a look!
